If not, you can hold down the 'wake up' button on the front of the sensor for four seconds. The repeater should appear after a few moments of searching.

Double check your ecobee login credentials and try again. Your HVAC system is off or in fan mode. Smart Vents do not move when your home is not being actively heated or cooled. In the Keen app, navigate to your room of choice and tap Add Smart Devices and then Find Keen Home Devices. Open the battery bay on the bottom of the sensor by twisting the panel counter-clockwise.

To do this, tap the hamburger and choose “Connected Devices." Select each sensor that does not have a room assigned. Tap on the room field and select the correct room or create a new room. Check that you don’t have a room set to 'unoccupied' in the time period you want the vents to be open. The Occupancy Schedule will take priority over temperature limits, so changing the rooms back to 'occupied' should solve this problem. Your thermostat relies on your air vents to deliver air to each room.

Adding Smart Vents to a room not only makes that room more comfortable, but balances your entire house and saves money each month. The product is working well for us so far. I’ve not set up the automation to control temperature in rooms yet, but so far for simply opening and shutting the vents it’s working. The o my downside is that when the vents are closed they are very loud, so I’ve been opening the vents to 22% to remove the noise.
From the Home view, tap on the name of the room in which you'd like to add your repeater. A window will pop up with a spinning status wheel signifying the app is looking for a device. The Smart Vent should pop up during the search. Download and launch the Keen Home app then follow the instructions to add your Smart Bridge. You'll just need the six-digit activation code found on its underside.

Ecobee sensors report temperature every 3 minutes or when there is a large change in sensor state. Because of this, the Keen Home app may be a few minutes behind the ecobee app. Once your ecobee3 is added, organize the rooms of your home into their appropriate zones in the Keen Home app. Follow the onscreen instructions to sign into your Ecobee account and finish setup. Limit airflow to unused rooms to save energy and money.

Once the Smart Bridge detects the sensor, the sensor will blink three times indicating it's joined the network. In the app, it should pop up notifying you that you can add it to your room. You add Temp Sensors similar to the way you add Smart Vents and Repeaters.
Our Smart Vents will intelligently redirect airflow to give you the perfect temperature in every room. If your username and password are correct and your network is working properly but you are still having trouble adding your ecobee, reach out to our support team at Room schedules function differently than home schedules, so for now the schedules you set for rooms in your Keen Home app do not interact with your ecobee home schedule. In other words, both will work, just independently of one another.
